Swadlincote
Our flagship factory at Swadlincote, Derbyshire, has allowed us to set new standards in product quality, safety and logistics.
Sustainability requirements and the need to safeguard our future environment was at the forefront of the design process of the factory
Fully automated manufacturing processes allow the complete casting and curing cycle to be completed in as little as 12 hours, which reduces energy consumption as well as minimise the risk of manual errors. The use of LEAN manufacturing principles reduces waste, and any waste that is created is recycled wherever possible.
Floor designs produced by the company's technical department are downloaded direct to the production lines via a wireless link. This eliminates the need to print out drawings, reduces human error and ensures accurate placement of details such as cut-outs and lifting hooks.
